2009-2010 general assessments ($140 per lot) are due January 31,2010
2009-2010 special 5-year assessments ($55 per lot for dam repairs)
are due March 15, 2010
$35 late fee will be assessed per lot for each overdue assessment.

Security gate passes will be mailed in the spring to property owners who have paid their assessments.
The security gate will be activated by Memorial Day, 2010.
]]> http://vaservers.com/gapoa/?feed=rss2&p=524 0 Lake Festival http://vaservers.com/gapoa/?p=425 http://vaservers.com/gapoa/?p=425#comments Tue, 29 Dec 2009 04:36:12 +0000 admin http://vaservers.com/gapoa/?p=425 The 2009 Greene Acres Lake Festival was held on Saturday October 3 to raise funds to restock the lake and make other improvements to the community recreational area.  The festival featured live music by Country Poor and Burntmill, kayak and canoe demonstrations by Blue Ridge Mountain Sports, games on the beach for all  ages, an arts and crafts market, a flea market, and plenty of food.  About 350 people attended the festival which was supported by 3 dozen Greene Acres volunteers.  The festival raised almost $1700.
